Opening a brick and mortar is a very slow moving process, I have to say. I never thought that construction would have been delayed back as far as the middle of May.
That said, optimism is still strong because our little family has the most loving, supportive and kindest people around, reminding us that everything will be okay. You know who you are… and to you I send love and hugs.
Today I decided to go to the shop and spend some time there; cleaning windows and just sharing the space with music and a squeegee. Thankfully, it rained so I was able to wash the outside of the windows in an environmentally friendly way… rain water from the grass. Despite your immediate thoughts, it was quite effective and I highly recommend it.
Overall, it was a lovely afternoon that brought my mind into the world of Cafe Alexandra, where my dream is to provide people with healthy foods one customer at a time.
